Co Connect is back supporting UMERC 2026, the Underground Mine Emergency Response Competition, helping keep everyone informed and connected across a big weekend of mine rescue.
The competition runs from 30 October to 1 November 2026 at FMR Investments' Gordon Sirdar underground gold mine. Three days of skills, teamwork and a healthy dose of friendly rivalry, with a lot of training about to be put to the test.
Congratulations to every team on the work that goes into getting here, often fitted around already busy rosters.
A big thank you to the Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia, the FMR crew hosting everyone, and all the organisers, assessors, volunteers and sponsors making it happen. There is plenty of work behind the scenes before the first scenario even starts.
Co Connect is the central hub for event information: communications, updates and reminders before and during the event, schedules and session changes, event maps and wayfinding that keep working offline, QR code scanning, survey links, transport and accommodation details, key contacts and sponsor information, all in one place.
Bring on UMERC 2026. See you at the competition.
